1. What is wrong about the crowd’s motivation for following Jesus (John 6:25-29)?

Where are places in our life where we believe Jesus for the wrong reasons?

2. Three times in chapter 6 Jesus says, “I am the bread of life” (6:35,48 and 51). What does Jesus mean by this? How do these references to the “I am” statements of Exodus 3:14 further shape our understanding of Jesus?

3. John 6:61 says the disciples were grumbling about the teaching of Jesus. What about Jesus and his teaching do we find difficult to understand or believe today?
