October 8, 2023 Sermon Questions

1. In John 5:1-13 there is no mention of faith or belief on the part of the paralyzed man. What do we learn about God’s healing working in people’s lives from this?

2. John 5:18 says Jesus was making himself equal to God? Why is this something important to know about Jesus?

3. Jesus was completely dependent upon the Father (John 5:19). What does this teach us about our relationship with Jesus?
